Eccentric circus owner Max Sabatini’s legacy to his only son, Foster, includes $5 million, with a stipulation: Foster (Tony Danza) must keep Max’s three prized orangutans for at least five years. With the apes comes high-wire artist Lazlo (Danny DeVito). The four additions are too much for Foster’s live-in girlfriend (Stacey Nelkin) whose mother (Jessica Walter) encourages her to move out.
