From the box:
Twenty-four-year-old first time screenwriter Cameron Crowe went undercover as a high school student to give us an insider’s perspective on sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll, and trying to make it through another year at Ridgemont High. There’s freshman Stacy (Jennifer Jason Leigh) getting plenty of bad advice from Linda (Phoebe Cates) on how to lose her virginity. Her brother, Brad (Judge Reinhold), is the big-man-on-campus who’s grooming himself for a career in the fast food industry.
And then there’s Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) as the ultimate surfer who’s most excellent at catching flack from Mr. Hand (Ray Walston), a rigid history teacher convinced everyone is on dope.
